You won't need a survey team to help you to
Historical Park! The park's address is 79 Buckeye Road,
Core, WV 26541, but it's only about 3 miles from Exit 1 off
Interstate 79 at Mount Morris in Pennsylvania.
So here you go:
Take Exit 1 off Interstate 79. If you're
coming from Pittsburgh, turn right onto Locust Avenue. If
you're coming from Morgantown, W.Va., turn left and under I-79
onto Locust Avenue.
Follow Locust Avenue into Mount Morris to the
stop sign at Route 19.
GO STRAIGHT (do not turn onto Route 19)
and go down the hill.
At the bottom of the hill, bear slightly right
at the stop sign.
At the next stop sign, go left onto Buckeye
Road (you'll cross a small bridge and the road immediately
turns to the right). Here's a view of that intersection:

during the time, you'll drive along scenic Dunkard Creek and
you'll cross into West Virginia (that's the Mason-Dixon
When you finally CROSS Dunkard Creek,
Mason-Dixon Historical Park is on your right.
If you're coming directly from Morgantown,
Cross the Star City bridge and get into the
far right lane onto Route 19/Route 7.
You'll pass beneath I-79 and pass the
Pursglove post office on the right.
When the highways split, take W.Va. Route 7
Stay on Route 7 through the villages of Jere,
Cassville (watch your speed!) and Core.
Go about 2 miles to a right turn onto Buckeye
Road. You'll see a brown sign for Mason-Dixon Historical Park
before the intersection. Cross the bridge over Dunkard Creek
and the park is on the left.
